The Neurocritic: Bad News for the Genetics of Personality

The Neurocritic: Bad News for the Genetics of Personality: "For genotyping, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) across the entire genome were tested for association with each of the four traits."

Well, that leaves out large copy variations. It also doesn't pick up on the potential existence of a large number pertinent of SNPs where each of which contributes small amounts to personality. These SNPs can't be identified as contributors because their contributions are small.

We still do not have cheap enough sequencing technology to identify most of the genetic variants that contribute to cognitive differences.
